NOTICE OF AERIAL PESTICIDE...
In compliance with Maine Board of Pesticides Control regulations, an aerial herbicide program will be conducted on timberlands managed by Seven Islands Land Company between August 1 and September 15, 2026.
The application will occur on carefully selected sites in Aroostook and Piscataquis counties in the towns of T10R6, and T9R9.
The purpose of the application is to prepare sites for reforestation or to release desirable tree seedlings from competing vegetation. The products to be used are Aquamaster, Oust XP, Bark Boost TA, and Choice Weather Master.
Signs will be posted roadside at the entrances to the sites which are closed to the public during application and re-opened upon application completion. No entry to the site is permitted until the posted re-entry interval has expired. No foraging is allowed in application sites.
Information on herbicide products, use, and regulations is available from the Maine Board of Pesticides Control (207-287-2731) or the Maine Poison Control Center (1-800-222-1222). For additional program information, contact Jason Desjardin, Seven Islands Land Company (207-945-1869).
